‘Psycho Religious Therapy ’ is a new ray of light in to the dark field of psychiatry. Over the last 25 years or so, quite a number of psychiatric patients have been rushed to Fr. Geo’s centre, to be treated by him. The significant fact is that a considerably large number of them got rapidly cured to the great relief of the patients and their relatives. Most of the patients who were seen by Fr. Geo. had previously been treated in several places including Medical College Hospitals and were diagnosed as Schisophraenia, Epilepsy, Blindness, Valvular disease of the heart and so on. This work no doubt is not only a challenge to the whole psychiatric world, but also a God –sent Boon to render great relief to a large number of families burdened or even disrupted by some psychiatric problem or other. It offers a new ray of light in to the dark field of psychiatry as well as a new ray of hope for many a patient counted lost.

Ofcourse, there has been quite a bit of acrimonious arguments about his line of treatment. Any body with an unbiassed mind can easily see that quibbles over the issue are totally unjustifiable when the fact remains, that any number of patients branded as incurable, do get mirraculous and lasting cure! After all, as the old English saying goes " The proof of the pudding is in the eating." To pooh-pooh it as bunkum, discloses only one’s own total unconcern for the suffering fellow beings. Any scientist who remembers Galileo or any doctor who knows the story of fox glove, will not dare to laugh off, irresponsibly any new venture to save the human beings from horrifying disease- states, with such promising results. I strongly believe and recommend that all medical persons with a real concern for the health and well being of our fellow men should make an attempt to study the subject in detail and popularise it for the benefit of the unfortunate sufferers all over the world.
